Forensic Consulting

Donna provides intensive case investigations along with critical detail to aid in legal matters in domestic, criminal and federal courts. Interfacing with attorney general’s offices, prosecutors, judges, attorneys, private investigators and clinical teams, she implements strategies to facilitate the best outcome for clients including: the formation of clinical teams for stabilization, engagement of national experts, witness prep and support, guidance on case strategy, court orders and witness questions.

Proficient in Munchausen by Proxy (MSBP) and Medical Child Abuse investigations, Donna completed a child abuse fellowship. Within the last six years, she has consulted on over 20 MSBP cases. In 2017, Boswell joined the National MSBP Task Force under the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children.

Operating under the premise that interdisciplinary teams are essential for effective intervention in child trauma cases, Donna’s strength is coordinating a team to protect the child victim. Her scope of work also encompasses refuting false MSBP allegations. She continues to serve on the national task force, networking  with leading experts in the field.
